When a robot performs welding instead of an actual welder, the accurate term is robot welding. Robot welding requires accurately produced items and a so-called fixture, a mechanism designed for accurate positioning and securing the item during the welding process. Therefore, robot welding requires a certain number of items in order to be cost-efficient compared to manual welding. Robot welding is under normal circumstances 3 to 8 times faster than manual welding, and complicated items with a long welding time are ideal for robot welding.

KK Metal offers all methods (MIG/MAG and TIG) in terms of robot welding. Moreover, we have developed our own conversion system and manufacture the fixtures ourselves in our machine shop for the welder robot. These factors allow us to be very flexible when it comes to robot welding, and furthermore, we can offer robot welding at a competitive price also concerning smaller batches.
